The most sensible option, however, is to choose “Custom Path.” In this case, a network path is generally selected in which the reports, queries and report configurations will be located. the data fields in the projects are different, and incompatibilities between projects could occur. This should only be done, however, if it is sensible to do so. With this setting, it is possible to generate individual reports, queries and report configurations for each project. If the directory does not exist, it will be created automatically. The example shown indicates that the “ReportFiles” directory is currently located under the “Project” directory. “ReportFiles” is set as the default directory. If “Project” is selected, it indicates that the directory for the files will be created for each project. The location of the “ReportFiles” directory will be displayed. The user should only choose this setting if, firstly, the same reports will be used for all projects and, secondly, there are no other work stations at which the reports must also be created.
